. The food bank has been looking to start a new volunteering shift for a couple of people each Saturday morning to help with cleaning. If you are receiving this email it is because I was keeping your info on file in case something "came up". The volume of people we serve has gone up so drastically, that it is harder and harder to keep up with a few simple tasks to maintain our building. Specifically, we need someone to come scrub the kitchen counters, cabinet fronts, and sinks out. Also, we need a second person willing to clean the bathroom, vacuum rugs, shine the glass doors, and disinfect the handles on our chrome freezers. Both these jobs (done regularly) should only take a half hour. I am there each Saturday morning mopping the floors around 8 am. So I'm hoping for teams willing to come in that time frame.
If you are still reading...here is what I'm thinking... You'd have to like cleaning. Some people don't. I understand. You need to find a buddy. I really need 2 people. So this would be good for couples, best friends, parent child combos, etc.
Let me know if this interests you. I'm open to helpers who come every week, two times a month, or even once a month. PLEASE forward this to any friends or neighbors you think might be interested as well.
Thanks for your consideration,
Tiffany

Be aware of a detour route if you travel in the area of Route 127 and 128 (Middle Road is closed between Route 128 & Nequasset Road) north of Woolwich. DO NOT drive around the barricades in the area. This is for your safety. Follow the detour route. We will update once the detour route has been confirmed ... See MoreSee Less
